Welcome to the PortGen Accelerator (Accelerator) site hosted by the Port of Seattle and the Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council (Northwest Mountain MSDC).
Generating wealth in disadvantaged communities, strengthens our region’s economy. Thus, it is our collective mission to economically grow our Women and Minority Business Enterprises (MWBEs). The Port of Seattle and the Northwest Mountain MSDC are teamed up to select and engage businesses in the Airport Services, Construction, Energy, and Maritime Services to participate in the 2022 PortGen Accelerator.
The program’s application, for qualified MWBEs to apply as an associate in the 2022 Accelerator Cohort, closed on August 8, 2022. The program begins on September 7, 2022. The PortGen Accelerator creates an environment where MWBEs will: build peer relationships; attend and participate in learning and development sessions; meet and greet decision-making executives; explore the many contracting opportunities around both the public and private sector; and build lasting relationships with industry mentors.
