In the month of October, we celebrate Global Diversity Awareness Month to shine a spotlight on the importance of diversity and inclusion in our society. As our world grows more diverse, embracing and celebrating diversity becomes increasingly essential. By doing so, we not only foster creativity and innovation but also cultivate stronger communities and businesses that thrive on a variety of perspectives.

The Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council (NWMMSDC) is nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering diversity in business by focusing on the economic development of minority-owned businesses. Our Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), staff, and members come from a rich tapestry of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, each contributing to our collective strength.

  • 16% of our MBEs are Asian/Indian American-owned, 19% are Asian Pacific American-owned, 20% are Native American-owned, 18% are Hispanic American-owned, and 27% are Black American-owned.
