Washington Edge Application Deadline

The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) is excited to announce that the Washington Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) pilot program is officially live and accepting applications! They designed this innovative program to support small businesses, paving the way for more opportunities in public works contracting with the state of Washington.

Contractors accepted into the program will receive access to Washington EDGE-exclusive bid opportunities on select contracts identified below $1 million.

To be eligible for the program, public works firms must have:

  • A gross revenue averaging no more than $5 million over the last three years.
  • All necessary licenses to perform public works projects.
  • Experience in construction work for at least three years.
  • No suspensions or debarments in the past two years.
